The Northern Air Temple: Code of Conduct

I. The Quiet Professional

We operate under a "Low Profile" rule.

What is shared, discussed, or filmed within these walls stays within these walls.

Respect the privacy of your fellow practitioners and the sanctity of the home environment.

II. Check the Ego

Rank, tenure, and department titles are respected but do not grant any privilege on the mats.

We are here to learn, not to "win" a training session.

If you aren't tapping, you aren't training hard enough; if you aren't coaching your partner through a win, you aren't leading.

III. Mission-Relevant Training

Our focus is on functional, high-percentage movements that save lives in the field.

While we appreciate the sport, we prioritize tactics and techniques that work under the weight of gear, in confined spaces, and in high-stress professional encounters.

IV. Mutual Resiliency

We look out for one another.

If a brother or sister is struggling—physically or mentally—this dojo is their rally point.

We train hard to stay sharp, but we remain a community that supports the person behind the uniform.

V. Stewardship of the Space

This is a home dojo, not a commercial franchise.

Treat the mats, the equipment, and the property with the highest level of respect.

Contributions/donations are strictly used for the upkeep and evolution of the training environment.

VI. Vetting & Integrity

Entry is a privilege earned through service and maintained through character.

Any behavior that brings discredit to the group or compromises the safety of the members will result in immediate removal.

VII: Sterile Training Area

No live blades, loaded firearms, or unauthorized duty gear on the mats during live rolling or drilling.

All training tools must be cleared and safed by all before the session begins.
